| Building a legacy for the future Coach Walthour remembers teaching not only swimming , but water polo, sailing, waterskiing and scuba in CHS pool, and thousands of alumnae remember him, and how much he inspired and motivated them. It was never about winning. Now it's time to give something back. Bob has seen three attempts to renovate the pool fail over the years, and now, as he recently put it, "I'm on my last legs, and so is the pool." While this is an exaggeration where Bob is concerned, the pool has indeed outlived its useful life span. Please help us honor the tradition Bob and his swimmers have created, and build a legacy for the future of Carmel High and the entire Carmel community by funding our commitment to the new pool and to start building an endowment fund for its ongoing operation. |
